Though the Tampa Bay Lightning lost the Stanley Cup to the Avs, they are winning with youth hockey players. Pro teams need to do more than place a banner in the rinks if they want to increase fans and youth hockey participation. They need to offer more programming, more often. Probably more player involvement too.
